So I’ve decided to write a short story for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo), which runs through November and requires me to write at least 15K words in 30 days.
This will be the first time I have attempted to write something so quickly and I’m rather looking forward to the challenge.
I have decided to base it around Caitlin and her parents, exploring what happened to them and how she comes to terms with their disappearance. I’ve already planned out 15 chapters, although there’s the small matter of a giant hole in my central plot, it’s going to be all about her, no annoying Josh, it will be a prequel to Anachronist – before she meets him. Current working title: Daughter of lost time.
Hopefully, I can crack this one straight after book 2 is released and best of all I’m going to give it away for free! So make sure you sign-up to the newsletter for updates!
